Construction supervision is usually carried out by the designer, architect or engineer of the facility. Since it is he who, knowing everything to the smallest detail, can carry out a full check of the design and the progress of work. If necessary, the activity can be performed by a third party contracted by agreement.
The designer’s supervision is prescribed in the contract, which is drawn up before the start of construction and repair work. The document prescribes the stages of checks, their purpose and schedule. The results are entered in a special journal.
Architectural supervision in construction is carried out in the following sequence.
The supervisor, together with the developer, draws up a visiting schedule. The exact time is set in advance, as all responsible persons, including the foreman, must be warned.
An audit plan is drawn up. Structures, materials, work site are prescribed.
Departure for inspection, during which the foreman or the person responsible from the work team, if desired, the developer, is present.
Upon completion of the examination, the specialist draws up a report, fills out a statement.
During the next inspection, the correction of comments is checked.
Upon completion of construction, the controlling person sums up the results. If necessary, it checks the object after it is put into operation.
Upon completion, all acts are drawn up, the reporting journal is closed. All records are forwarded to the customer.
